Who are the YAAC?

The ‘Young Arnolfini Artists Collective’ are a group of ten artists, aged 17 and above, living, working and studying in Bristol. We are all from North Bristol Post 16 and have a wide range of artistic interests, from photography and film, to dance, fashion and theatre and everything in between. You name it, we like it!

We work with the Arnolfini to plan and deliver events directed at making art more accessible for young people! We will be infiltrating the gallery with an abundance of ideas, artwork, talks, discussions and workshops. Collaborating with established artists to bridge the gap between the student and the professional, because art, and the Arnolfini, is for all ages.

We are the second generation of YAAC, with the group before us (also students from North Bristol Post 16) working with the Arnolfini from October 2009-July 2010. We are now building on and continuing their good work from November 2010 – July 2011.
